Now that I got that reference out of the way, I need to ask, is the PS3 worth the money dip?
I've been meaning to replace my old PS2 for quite sometime now, but I heard all that stuff about it being a piece of shit, lack of games, etc..
Although, my PS2 is infact falling apart (won't play new games, just games it's quite familiar with... sounds quite out there doesn't it?), and I've been intrested in afew games like inFAMOUS or Killzone 2. Plus, free online sounds... pretty damn good.
Yeah its worth it but unless uve got alot of friends with PS3's the online can feel hollow at times, dont get me wrong there are a few really great online games like Killzone 2 and MGO but ive rarely had the social experience ive had on 360. There are brilliant exclusives already out like Uncharted, MGS 4, Ratchet and Clank, Killzone 2, Infamous, Valkiria Chronicals, Resistance, Little Big Planet with new ones arriving later this year and 2010 like Uncharted 2, MAG, God of War 3, Ratchet and Clank Crack in Time, long list lol but you get the idea, id say if ur not too focused on online then ul get alot out of ur PS3 but if not id go for 360.
Well, that's good, I'm not a HUGE online player, I'm more focused on the single player aspect of videogames. So this is good news, I guess once I get paid this week I will head on over to the local Gamestop.
When Microsoft makes a machine that is known for breaking, and when it gives you a new one, they should extend the goddamn warranty in case it breaks again. And that's why I'm getting a PS3. At least, when it has backwards compatibility again.
I hear rumor that future patches will bring backwards compatibility back. I am unsure about whether or not they are true, but they are rumors none the less.
Your choice, friend. I think the online community for the 360 has been handled much better, but everyone has their own separate tastes.
If you're thinking of just replacing your PS2, I suggest just buying another PS2 since the current PS3 model no longer has backwards compatibility.
It really is a personal preference since they're almost identical to each (since they've been trying to rip each other off since the start). Dead Rising vs Uncharted. Metal Gear Solid vs Splinter Cell. Killzone vs Halo. It's all a matter of taste.
If you have a Hi-Def TV the PS3 is great because of the Blu-Ray. If you're looking for great online play, go with the 360. Both have great lineups, so no matter what you get there's gonna be something good on it. Also, if you're in desperate need of a console right now, I'd go with the bundle at Best Buy since it's the same price plus you get two of the best games on the system. If you can hold out for about 2-4 months, I'd wait to see if the PS3 Slim gets announced.
at least u admit that it was YOUR 360 that was shitty. Maybe if you took better care of ur shit that wouldn't happen. AND even in the case you did take care of it, if you sent it back you'd have a new one on it's way. O man suuuuuuch a bad deal!
If you own an HD television, you most likely want to receive HDTV programming. However, to upgrade your current cable you need to pay an extra monthly fee (typically around 10 dollars). If you do not want to pay the extra amount but still want some…
O.K. so I posted this in my blog but figured I'd post it here too..lol
Alright SO I have never done a review before..so my very first here and now!
