Hey guys how many gigabytes is best to have for a PS3?

You can use a Portable hard drive to back up save games. But the PS3 Slim is 250Gb which is plenty for games and movies.

120GB is plenty when you first get a PS3. If you need more space just buy a larger HDD, they're not that hard to replace.

Hi Jordan love the silver surfer show, btw only get the PS3 for Blu Ray and the odd single player game. PS3 on multiplayer on the net is rare and no one has a headset for mic / audio communication in games.
