Now, as a kid, I adored Rugrats. If I wasn't watching Rugrats at 7:30 each day as a kid, i'd get upset and feel like my day was ruined in every single way.

Lol. I watched that the first night it aired, and loved it. There was no way any one was going to call that Cannon. Just a cute off shot, you could take or leave. By the same token, I also enjoyed the animated show Ewoks, and Droids.
Seeing Jar-Jar ruining what was officialy part of the universe, was heart breaking.
