PEOPLE GOING NUTS OVER TWO WORDS SAID ON ICARLY'S RECENT EPISODE

So I was on youtube and I saw a video entitled "I Carly Ithink They Kissed Part 1". I clicked on it since there wasn't a new sxephil video and I watched all through part 3(which is a seperate video) and I was reading the comments before watching it and people werer saying "OMG Sam said Holy Crap". I skiped to that part and it does seem like the girl said Holy Crap here's the video....skip to 7:30 then listen very closely at 7:39 to 7:41.

Did you hear it. I'm not sure and this is pretty dumb talking about a kid show, but if she did say "Holy Crap" then I think that isn't something to be showing kids that watch this who are the ages of 5 to 13 proboably. What do you Spilldos think?

She said "Holy Crab". Besides, saying holy crap is nothing to fuss over. Its not as bad a word as shit and I can't see how it will affect children in any negative way.

Yes, I found out about it on the show creator's website.

Scroll down to scene 9

Yes, I watch iCarly.

Oh jesus christ. I'm not going to say anything about the show because this is probably one of the worst ideas for a discussion on Spill ever (no offense Atomic, but really. Come on). But in reference to your other comment, you especially should know that kids are using every curse word imaginable by the time they're 12.

I don't understand how people are so oblivious to this sometimes. Fuck was a common word in 6th grade (not that long ago for me), and I don't think crap has any sort of age limit at all. The kids around me have said that since age 5.

I feel worse about these kids having to grow up with this show than I do about them hearing the word crap, which is not even a god damn curse word. Of all the things to guard kids from, and words are a common target. Ridiculous.

It's a kid show. I would understand why people would be upset.

A big deal about nothing, they hear this on every other sitcom

I've heard crap on Hey Arnold! before and it never shocked me, well, a little, but didn't thought it was such a big deal.

As for this, I don't really care since I haven't cared much for this crappy show either. Saying crap isn't that big of a deal (maybe for others) for a kids show unless it has something more PG, PG-13 related or sexual, double, single, entendre or cleverly hidden sexual innuendos/jokes that kids wouldn't get. Yeah....Spongebob had alot of adult jokes in it too. Luckily as kids we was dumb enough that we didnt get the jokes.

Wow people are complaining about this?! I remember watching a Dexter's Lab episode where Dexter hands a letter excusing him from gym class to his substitute gym teacher, where the gym teacher says, "What is this crap??" No one complained about that, so why complain about this??

People had balls back then. Now they have heart attacks.

So true. That and Tipper Gore's influence on parents in America has increased since the old PMRC days.

Who's Tipper Gore?

Al Gore's wife. Big promoter of censorship in the '80's.
