Opinions on punishment for treason

I'm glad that Cop killed that traitor it just sucks he had to lose his life in the process. Recent events have got me thinking on what should be done to the two surviving gunmen in today's attack on Fort Hood in Texas? If these Eye witnesses keep to their stories which they most likely will... Then do you guys feel it's appropriate to give them the death penalty?

Seeing someone shooting at you is something you aren't going to forget, or change your mind about, and I can't think of any reason for someone to lie about something like that...unless this whole thing goes way deeper than we know, and somehow links back to Bush.... which it might

Personally I think we should hang them in the middle of town square, but I own over 20 John Wayne Movies so that effects my judgment.

I will admit Obama did give a very tasteful speech

i believe that because we are now there we can't just up and leave, that would make things worst, believe me i am not just some liberal nut, i just disagree strongly with the idea of going over to another country and killing its civilians regardless of intentional or not, but then again i am a dirty hippy socialist who thinks that all human life is equal.
