Psycho. was recently on tv. hadnt seen it in at least 5 years etc. so i watched it, innappropriate advert breaks and all.
still unequalled, still imitated, never bettered. the shower scene is a masterpiece of antici pation. ahem.
but it was Arbogast's demise that impressed me this time, chilling in its banality.
gus van sant will die, or at least deserves to for even attempting to colourise this (with the walking plank as well, what balls!)
