Well...I'm, just not gonna say anything for the sake of staying out of a debate I already know will turn into a shitstorm... But I don't mind watching one! :D
So, discuss! "Did he deserve it?" and all that jazz.

Except when you consider that the EXACT SAME factors that Al Gore preached about causing Global Warming, were the EXACT SAME factors that people were saying were causing Global COOLING 30yrs ago. That Al Gore constantly goes on about Scientist CONSENSUS, which is NOT PROOF, but a CONCEPT. And that Global Cooling, Global Warming and any other "Climate Change" can't be tested for SCIENTIFIC FACT because we can't generate a planet to TEST things on. Nor that Humans have only had the ability to tell Weather Patterns for maybe the last 100-150yrs of our EXISTENCE, yet the planet has been around for possibly BILLIONS of years. Or that there is still no evidence one way or the other if Humans have effected the Planet's climate any MORE OR LESS than a simple 2 degrees of rotation of the Earth's Axis.... which scientist HAVE SAID happens before, and CONTINUES TO HAPPEN.
No, Al Gore's award was exactly the same as Obama's award. A political connection, and not an actual ACHIEVEMENT.

You're so fucking negative. Do you nitpick at everything? Should you even care? Why are you caring so much? I never woulda figured the Nobel has such an impact on your life to cause mass dissatisfaction on your behalf.
Did Al Gore rob you of your nomination? Did your Alien Extermination Particle Ray Gun get rejected the same year Gore won his award?
That said, I'm not partaking in this debate, but I'll be more than happy to point out an inconsistency in your argument: A political connection is meaningless when it bears to no merit or advantage to the prize winner, especially when that winner doesn't even give a rat's ass about his own political career anymore. Gore had a good dozen advantages, as well as chances to boost his political career, yet he didn't bother with a single one. Hell, before Obama even became a household name, the popular word was that Gore would be next for the job. He didn't even bother planting his name... Rather, he focused on his movie and Live Earth; which, by the way, was a pretty badass concert.

Compare how Dr. King received his to how the President earned his. One got his for being a beacon of hope for all races in the pursue change in the matter of equal rights. The other made "Hope" and "Change" his campaign slogans. Honestly, when comparing Dr. King to Obama, one actually brought change, while the other sells the idea in a speech. I know I might get flamed for this, but come on. The Nobel Prize is about as political as the Oscars.
Here is why he won.
He won the Nobel Peace Prize, because the NPP Committee felt bad for Obama after the world slapped him the face by denying him the Olympics.
He has not accomplished anything.
We might as well give him the Heinzman trophy also. He hasn't done anything in college football to deserve it, just like he hasn't done anything to earn this. Whats the difference?
Well I don't know how many of you saw this but it is a movie that many people didn't like. Many people said that the plot was bleak. Now I think many people didn't like the movie because it dealt with an issue that many people don't want to talk a…
