Obama must be writing the storys because theres HOPE for Smallville!
Iv been a fan of the show since it started! Like meny of you I watch diligently every fall and scourer the interwebs in the summer for news on the next season. Ever since the creators left the story (I feel) has been lacking the end of season 7 . The end of Michael Rosenbaum lex was iffy (which I can understand due to the writers strike), but season 8 just felt rushed. I can see that they were trying to reach new hights but the story was everywhere! Seriously! The plot was shaken like coked out chiwawa!
This season on the other hand seems to be picking up! Granted we are only 5 eps in, but the continuity we are getting this eairly in the season is fantastic! Im starting to get that old Smallville vibe to it (if they would do more on location shots like they did before season 8 everything would be gravy)! Now heres the question...How do you feel so far? optimistic? or could you care less?

Does Clark Kent have 5 o'clock shadow in that picture? BLASPHEMY! Everyone knows the only hair Superman ever gets is on his head!
Before someone begins showing me images of a bearded Superman, yes, I am aware he's had hair on his chin numerous times in the comics. It's always looked weird, nonetheless.

Yeah it took awhile for me to get use to aswell. Iv been so use to the farmboy denim look its kinda strange seeing him in something that you would probably find in Mens Warehouse lol.

i happy that they've made clark a little smarter. No more scenes with him walking into a room full fo kyrptonite, dropping to the the floor, waiting for someone to save him. I hope have him tell lois his secret without the epsode ending with him waking from a dream or traveling back in time. I want the feeling to change every episode he lies to everyone accept chole and oliver about who he is. THe vibe of the show never changes. I want to see a more spiderman mary jane relationship where he saves the day and has a girl to talk about it with at the end of the day..

If you want that kinda of relationship then I sugest the show Lois & Clark. That show mostly deals with the realtionship between the two rather then the origin of the myth. I doubt Lois will find out before the final season (if the CW does give the show a 10th season most likely it will be its last).
There is a change in the feeling of the show. Watch the early episodes when he an lex were still friends or when Jonathan Kent was still alive. COMPLETELY diffrent vibe!

True, True. But like I said at most we would only have to deal with 1 1/2 seasons of lying if the network gives the green light for a 10th. lol
