Weather we got Obama or John McCain or anyone else for President.
I dont think the out come would be that much different.
Race and color is meaningless for the shit this country is in..
Health care and unemployment and other tough topics care not for color or race.
It effects everyone.
Anyone who had to pick up the shit pile that Bush left for them to clean up has more trouble ahead for themselves than any of us con ponder.
People are going to blame who is in office now for the problems he is trying to clean up left to them.
If you really think ANY candidate can really properly clean up Bushes shit hole he left us in.
Please by all means point him out...
Obama is just trying to do what the rest of the countries of world has already done for its citizens.
Have cheap and if not free health care for the people.
I mean Jesus... Canada gives free health care... Why cant we?
This last 8 years has been tough to get through.
After looking at these videos. How can anyone clean up properly after him?!
How he got elected to be even a governor of Texas is beyond me.
To refernce South Park in a sense, you'd either get a douche or a turd. Sure, for most people in America, the racial factor may have played a part in influencing the vote just for that sense of national self-esteem, but it was not the deciding factor. I'd say it was the overwhelming charisma and ability to win over crowds through typical rhetoric, but that's another discussion. Whoever became president would have a large hill to climb and is going to have problems. Typically, the problems left from the past administration that follow into the next would soon somehow come to be the fault of the current administration, even when it's not. That's just how it goes. Right now, he's trying to appeal to both sides even though in the end, that's not possible.
Healthcare was fucked up way before Obama set foot in the White House. And maybe African-Americans voted for Obama in large numbers because they tend to vote Democrat anyway.
You know, I never understood people complaining about Black people voting for Obama. Aren't blacks still a minority? Which must mean plenty non blacks voted for him. I personally wrote in my vote (yes I'm lame).

I think that the complaint of "Black people voting for Obama" isn't that they did it for POLITICAL reasons, but did it ONLY BECAUSE of the skin-color issue. There are some people that actually believe that the "Political message" was ignored simply because his skin was a darker shade than other candidates.
But I'm sure there were plenty other (non black) people who voted for the same reason and possibly even more ridiculous reasons. Are we going to complain about or stop everyone we feel is voting for what we believe are the "wrong" reasons? And why all the fuss now just because of black people?
I'm not saying it should be encouraged either way. We should be informed voters. It just seems like a weak point to bring up overall when there are so many other problems/points to bring up (Like just another reason to complain about black people).
