No More Donating to "Cure for Cancer" Charities for Me!!

The way I see it, there's one of two things goin' on out there...

Either there simply is no cure for cancer (there isn't a cure for everything, you know), or they already know how to cure it, but the pharmacorps won't let the cat out of the bag because they need their revenues from long-term treatments.

I realize great strides have been made in the field of treatment, from chemo to surgical to other therapies, and some people have managed to "beat" cancer.  Yet no doctor or scientist has announced a "cure", and frankly I tend to think there just isn't one.  Maybe I'm splitting hairs, but I'd be quicker to donate to a charity that said was raising money for "treatment" for cancer patients, but I don't buy the "cure" crap, and I won't give another dime to any charities that claim to be finding one!

What about chemo therapy? It doesn't always work but it still counts as a cure. What you have to realise about cancer is that its extremely complex. Cancer is far more complex then the common flu virus which we still haven't found a cure for.

I don't think you understand what cancer actually is.
