Basically it started with where the game ends, just a stormy ocean. BUT, as you can see now there is someone standing there with the close up of the face as it is done in the main menu of the game. and a shadow of a statue being show through the lighting, which oddly looks a lot like Athena.

The face is still covered by a shadow? Will anything else be revealed? Definitely.On the top right corner of the screen there is a circular object that seems to 3/4 filled with blood. This has been slowly filled up in quarters since the release of the game. 

How is this thing filled up? I really don't know. I'm thinking it's based on the amount of people who have platinum-ed the game and sync it to their account.But it could be something predetermined and timed, so we will just have to see. 

So one question above all is who is this mysterious figure?

Me, I think it might be Kratos but probably isnt  (for those who beat it, DUH) I really think it's his brother. SPOILER!! One of the many notes you find in hell clearly imply it was written by his brother, something about being pissed that HE became a god and he had to rot in hell, which would confirm his existence in this universe, AND you get  trophy for watching the concept video that shows his brother in the God of War Collection.There was another note that was probably written by his mother. But it might not be. That note could have just as easily have been Hercules, who did technically kinda die in the mythology.
