If it's crap... We'll tell you

I was told to buy a bunch of tissues for this movie. Fortunatley I didnt need them. That doesnt mean this movie isnt sad. Its about a young girl who is dying of cancer so of course its sad. I just didnt believe the story.

A young girl names Ana is the youngest of three children has been donating parts of her body for her dying sister Kate. She has had enough of being put under a microscope so she hires a Lawyer played by Alec Baldin in for a me an always plesant performance.
Anna sues her parents so that she has the right to her own body. Her mom Cameron Diaz is naturally shoked by this and the movie turns into one big moral question 1) Save your dying daughter by using a daughter who you only conceived to use her as spare parts or let your dying daughter die and finnally pay some gad damn attention to your other children.

Like I said earlier I just didnt believe the story. I think no matter what goes on in this situation no child of any age would think of sueing there parents to save a sibling (especially considering how close they were) Cameron Diaz's perfomance is beyond annoying, over the top and the character its self is not pleasent which makes you want her to suffer and not get her way ( not that you want anyone to die)

There are alot of scenes in this film that take a long time to get to the point. There is a scene where the family is at the beach and music playes while the movie is on slow motion and it goes on for about 10 minutes, just unesassary it shows how lack of writing they had. In the begining alot of slow motion of the family having fun with voice overs of boring diologue.

The movie is sad yes but I ended up feeling that the ending suited the fait of everyone correctly, its helps everyone fix their problems and gain a perspective on what was right(though the ending is different then the book)

Still if you miss it, not the end of the world

Nick certainly doesn't seem to have inherited any of his father's filmmaking prowess.
