My Movie Reviews Thread

Hey guys. I've just joined Spill.com, so I thought I'd start my time here with my movie reviews thread. They'll be my own opinions on the movies I've seen, and you're free to comment, as long as is not anything like 'you suck', 'I liked so-and-so better', or anything offensive. I'll also rate them with the Spill.com ratings.

So I'll start off with the last movie I saw in theaters: Frost/Nixon

At first, I wasn't really sure about this movie, because I'm more into comedy films like Robin Hood: Men in Tights and Rat Race, but this film really surprised me. It was a very interesting film. It was almost like one of my favourite Australian films: The Night We Called It A Day, in that two different countries collide with each other. In the case of Frost/Nixon, it's America's Richard Nixon and UK's David Frost. The interviews themselves were a joy to watch, it always kept me wondering how this was going to turn out. Michael Sheen and Frank Langella (who really should've won the Oscar) really portrayed their roles well.
So I'm giving Frost/Nixon a very high Full Price!

I'll add more reviews when I have time, or when I see my next movie. ^_^

So, people aren't allowed to say that they don't agree with you, or that they like someone else's reviews better, or that yours fall a little short on having anything interesting to say about the movie you watched? If that's the case, I suggest that you disable the comments option on everything you write, tuck your head into the sand, and hum for dear life.

You seem like a nice kid so I just wanted to point out that everyone's going to be on your case if you try to censor other people's opinions about your opinions in a website forum created solely to display what big opinions everyone has.; ▶ Reply to This

What I meant was that I don't want stupid remarks like people calling me 'n00b', 'retarted' or anything because of what I like and don't like.

I might change things a bit. I welcome comments on other people's opinions. I just don't want rude comments and people calling me (like I said) a n00b, or a retard, or anything like that. I hope that sounds better.; ▶ Reply to This
