Movie Spinoffs to Television
There has been lots of discussion on Spill about TV programmes made into movies, but what about the other way round?
Television shows based on movies are not new. There are stories and characters which have succeeded on the big screen only to continue that success with viewers at home on the small screen. Films like Alien Nation, The Sarah Connor Chronicles, and Blade have all spawned television series. Meanwhile M.A.S.H, Buffy, Stargate, and the Highlander programme have proven that they can sometimes gather enough of a fan base to warrant spinoffs of their own. Disney is well known for their animated films making the transition to television, with so many of their movie characters getting shows of their own.
Any characters you could just not get enough of in cinemas? Whose universe would you like to see expanded and explored on a weekly basis? Did we really need the Clone Wars cartoon?

Isn't there a film(which is I sequel, I think) called 'City of Men'?

well city of men is basically city of god but update to now, so ithas it own story which explains whats changed and what has'nt, same actors,different characters, same realism and brillances that was city of god. and
labrat is right,it was a movie that got a TV spinoff that got a movie spinoff.

I wanna see a tv series based on Zombieland. It can feature the characters from the movie, or it can be completely different characters,as long as its in the same universe, it would be pretty interesting to see.
Oh, and at the end of every episode, they should have a Zombie Kill Of The Week.
BTW, the new Clone Wars series sucks

they can't cut us off like that :O
and i hate Christian bale, and Teminator Salvation seems a little bad while TSCC is great and smart
I also would love a Dark Angel movie. this show was great and ended too soon
