Sorry, music is one of my passions and I get annoyed when somebody hates on something without knowing shit about it.

Depending on who you talk to metallica is WAY overrated, or WAY underrated. I believe somebody on this thread said they had nutless soft parts. That is why i say underrated.

I completely agree with you. They're probably some of the most talented musicians in history. Anybody who tries to disagree is demonstrating how ignorant they are about what being a musician actually entails.

I just wanted to make sure a flame war wasn't about to break out. That's the last thing i need on my conscience.

That is the most arbitrary and intelectually devoid argument one could make upon the subject of art!

The very same argument could apply to any artful form, which would render Spill.com completely obsolete, as no one present is a Hollywood caliber actor, nor director.

This is the equivalent of receiving an attrocious hair cut, whilst the hair stylist completely ignores your contempt and complaints, as YOU are not a hair stylist, therefor your opinion is void!

I agree with OP on Nickelback. I also think Three Days Grace has a much larger fanbase than they deserve.

Fall out boy definately they had like one or two good party songs but other than that there stuff is shit
and i feel so bad for the Patrick cuz he gets no recognition Pete gets it all

I second w/ the Jonas Bros.

Well, pretty much nearly all bands in Disney/(Nick, Naked Bros Band would count) and bands who are constant in the Top 40 list in general are overrated.

Nirvana and Metallica are really, really overrated. Nirvana should stay as a staple of the 90s "I-realy-hate-life" music, and Metallica has just lost what made them good in the 80s, their attitude and aggressive music, they have really gone the "we just want to sell records" way, and, of course, they are not trash (Genre, you silly) anymore...
