What in your guys' opinion is the most over rated band out there today.
I think it's Nickleback because they win lots of awards in Canada and have achieved a large amount of success worldwide and yet their albums have been getting worse and worse and they weren't all that great to begin with.
Dude, half those bands are CONTEMPORARIES of Metallica. They made music at the same time, if not, before Metallica. Metallica was just the first thrash metal band to go mainstream.
if you want to squirt a tear go ahead, but no one said fuck you for having an opinion... I think that Metallica has been imitated so much that maybe you feel their sound is played out, but really they are just the standard that all other metal bands are judged by.... IMO Metallica is to metal what BB king is to Blues... they have a sound heavily rooted in the genre because they helped pioneer the genre.
Average thrash metal band? Um they CREATED thrash metal lol. Along with megadeth, slayer, and anthrax. Look a little further past the black album and look up kill em all and see why everyone hates the NEW metallica which yes, does suck ass now.
Firstly, that's just not true - Metallica, Slayer and Anthrax all formed several years after a couple of bands that I have listed, and secondly, IT'S AN OPINION. GET OVER THE FACT THAT I DON'T LIKE A BAND THAT YOU LIKE.
I don't care if you like them, but it is MY opinion that your opinion sucks ass. You are calling it nutless which means you don't know shit about music. Some of the greatest moments are the slower parts. listen to call of khtulu, to live is to die, nothing else matters, or my favorite the unforgiven. You have no MUSICAL taste which is why you don't like the "nutless" slow parts. go listen to grind core or something
I feel bad to say this but I kinda like St. Anger, sure some songs are pure garbage, but Frantic, All within my hands and the unnamed feeling are really freaking good
Okay, let me first start off by saying that I'm a huge World War 2 buff, and have a special place in my heart for the entire genre of WW 2 movies. I recall seeing this particular movie when it was first aired on HBO back in 1995, and thinking that...
