you should listen to the hollywood.com podcast. the crew bring up a good point about how the trials were primarily due to money-hungry people who sought to take advantage of jackson's weird reputation in the hopes of getting a chunk of cash, he was found not guilty on all charges due to lack of evidence and he wasn't let off on a technichality either. he may have been strange but he wasn't a pedophile.
and before i forget; michael jackson bombed pearl harbor!
Meh, skipped 11 pages because I figured it was the same jibba jabba I had heard for a while. I'm pretty sure the news tells you what you want to hear because if they do, their ratings will go higher. I would like to see the news station that says "Oh, Michael Jackson? Fuck that guy, he's dead." Only people that aren't judged nationally by their opinion would say that. I think we all glorify the dead because we latch on to good memories, no matter what they are. Eatin' a great cheeseburger? Probably gonna hit up that burger joint again. Had your first kiss? Gonna remember him/her for a while. Dog dies while you can't do anything to stop it? Block that shit out; don't embrace it, that's scary. It's just how people are, really. Even if we all don't really give a shit about Michael Jackson, we'll appear to, because that is normal, and people are concerned that if they aren't seen mourning his death they will be classified as a cold heartless person. That's alright though, its nice and cool as one of those people.
