Mega Man
If anything, Mega Man is probably my most favorite VG franchise. (or maybe it's LoZ. I'm not sure which.....)

This song is just purely badass, there something 'sad' about it though, maybe it's the tone the song uses, but god damn it's awesome
One of my favorite songs from the video game series...I think all of Dr Cossacks stages were better than any Wily Stage music, even number 2.

I've lost my faith in Mega Man. 9, the extremely overpopulated NET series, 2 compilations (not to mention they totally ran X into the ground with the 3D bullshit)... Capcom's been very, very lazy. Why don't they just make a new MegaMan Legends game for PS3? That series was such a fresh step forward for the franchise... and since then they've just gone backwards.
With that being said, you put a lot of effort into your list... so I'll return the favor.
-Megaman Legends 1 & 2 and Megaman X4 & 5 were THE most memorable games on PS1. Hell, even Misadventures of Tron Bonne was awesome.
-For the NES, 3 is my favorite as far as bosses and music is concerned. Of course, 5 was the most playable (still extremely difficult though)
-Megaman Xtreme 2 was my FAVORITE GBC game. Megaman & Bass on the GBA was great too.
-Best boss of all time?

Megamanx5 was terrible in comparison to the amazing X4..god damn Sigma can suck it.
Legends was great, but i'm glad they stopped when they did. I prefer old school megaman, but if a new 3D adventure were to come out, i'd love, just as long as I could still visit Dr Wily in a boat shop like Legends 1

Mega Man 2 was incredible.
Bubble Man theme is probably the best in my opinion.
