TheRahRah posted a statusI was interested in what these contained, but had absolutely no interest in playing through the game again (I barely have time to play new games). These aren't my videos, but I figure I'd put them here for others that want to watch them!
I find myself sort of neutral on these. I can't get upset or excited about them. Interesting to see what they did at least.

Permalink Reply by son of wolverine on June 26, 2012 at 11:44am Control was intresting, it shows shepards alive in a way.
Permalink Reply by Talvi on June 26, 2012 at 12:29pm Synthesis still is a stupid option to pick.
I never choose Destroy because originally it said you'd destroy the reapers and the star child quickly added as last few words to it that you'd also destroy the Geth. That was never an option for me because I had just made it so that the Geth and Quarians finally made peace and worked together to fix everything, So destroying them all would make that last mission all pointless
My option for the extended ending would be Control in this case. Sacrificing Shepard (in a way) so everyone I loved and all the other species could continue with their lives and have a future.
Some nice fixes to some problems I had in these new cutscenes, the reason why the Normandy was so far from the battle scene. Fixing the Mass Relays only works if you take the control (or synthesis option I guess) option because with that you still have access to reaper technology, with the destroy option it's all gone.
Overall some nice changes that make things a bit better, but it should have been in the game in the firstplace. It being done as damage control months after the initial ending just isn't worth me going back and playing the last few hours of the game over again.
Oh there is also a refusal ending, which let you shoot the star child or just refuse to pick any option but then the reapers just wipe everyone out and you get a cutscene of Liara's recording of the container witht he knowledge buried somewhere for future civilizations to find.

Permalink Reply by LunaticLMD on June 26, 2012 at 3:55pm They're better, but that's not saying a lot.
This would be my GOTY also, but that's because there really hasn't been a great game that came out this year sadly.
Permalink Reply by George Knight on June 26, 2012 at 4:43pm Kid Icarus Uprising, Xenoblade Chronicles, Tales of Graces f, Dragon's Dogma, Max Payne 3, Soulcalibur V, Resident Evil Revelations and Katawa Shoujo disagree.
This hasn't been the greatest year, sure, but there are plenty of great games to play if you expand your horizons a bit.
Permalink Reply by LunaticLMD on June 26, 2012 at 5:57pm I have expanded my horizons a lot this generation, and yeah...not many awesome games this year so I disagree with your disagreeing.
Permalink Reply by Proto on June 26, 2012 at 5:54pm I wasn't one of the haters about the original ending, but I'm also not sure these address any of the major issues people had.
Most interesting thing in there is an actual ingame shot of what a Quarian looks like with out a mask in the synthisis ending (like all of a nose, but confirms they pretty much just look like humans)
