Considering that this is not even a 2 minute clip, I'm not going to make any judgments yet, and honestly, neither should the Mass Effect community. Sure she seems like an over-the-top, one-dimensional badass, but honestly, we know nothing else about the character.

While I agree, these type of promos are designed to give people a first impression. I was aghast when I first saw it. SZ completely broke the mold and the immersion, for my first impression. But the game has some 5-6 months till release and plenty more vids to be released before then... I'm sure they'll release something less over-the-top about her.

God. Awful...

And what's this I hear about 'bringing back Wrex'? Has he been written out of the story? I didn't kill him in the first Mass Effect and was able to talk him down. Why wouldn't he be in it if the sequel will be directly affected by the first one?

Yeah.. there's a real lack of info on what's going on with your original team. Wrex looks to be replaced with a wannabe named Grunt (another Krogan). Kaiden and Ashely looks to be replaced by two new humans, Jacob and Miranda. Then there's SuZe, Thane, Tali and some Salarian scientist BioWare hinted at before... that leaves 3 spots from what the video shows as a 10 man roster.

Well, I made two characters for the game, maybe one of 'em will use SZ and the other won't. I won't judge yet, since we had no idea on how Wrex's character played out (Now we luv the guy).

Maybe we can see a real catfight between SZ and Ashley/Liara? (If you guys didn't kill Ash and chose her as a Romantic partner, and if she even shows up in this game)

After watching this trailer, I'm gonna wait for reviews and then just rent and see what I think. Now I'm gonna go cancel my pre-order. It just doesn't seem like Mass Effect.

Its awesome when a two minute character trailer galvanizes people like this. Chill the hell out. I look forward to being able to have a little variety. I'm sure she'll have a whole mopey streak in her that will come through, "I''m just a lost child," or some other such BS.
I really don't see how this affects the game AT ALL. Ten man squad, you can change it around, who cares? I hated some characters in ME so I didn't use them. Ever. I don't even remember that little space drifter chicks name.

Everyone who bitches about SZ really knows nothing about her and is going to buy the game anyway. I look forward to the development of it. No one in ME is one dimensional and I'm actually curious to see what route they take with her. I bet she breaks down emotionally at a key point and tries to kill everyone so she doesn't have to die alone. Any takers? Huh? Anyone?
