Martin Freeman is Bilbo Baggins
hey everyone. I just went over to Empire Magazine and they said that Jackson has finished casting some of the characters for The Hobbit. While we can now assume that this project will happen, certain of these actors don't seem to be too wellknown, except maybe for Martin Freeman, who will play the main character, Bilbo. Thorin Oakenshield will be played by Richard Armitage. Aiden Turner will play Kili and Rob Kazinsky is Fili. Bombur will be played by Stephen Hunter, Mark Hadlow is Dori. Peter Hambleton is Gloin, John Callen is Oin and Graham McTavish is Dwalin. now i know all you people want to see Ian mckellen as gandalf and Andy Serkis as Gollum but apparently they haven't, as of yet, signed any contract so that still needs to be done. I really hope the Hobbit will be a good film and not a disaster like The Wolfman that got pushed back until it wasn't funny anymore. Whatcha think? Goog choice of actors? i don't know most of them so i'm open-minded. apparently bill nighy is in competition to do smaug's voice and stephen fry and Saoirse Ronan may also be in negotaitions for the film.

I like this. Freeman has always been an actor I've liked. Hell, he was probably the best thing about that Hitchhiker's Guide movie and I think he could work really well for Bilbo.

Yeah I also saw him in The Office and to be honest it is a match made from heaven. He IS Bilbo!
