This proves that it can be done, but im not sure if it ever will be done.
What do you guys think, will anyone ever try a dbz movie again?
If they take it seriously, and don't treat it like a kids film,it could be good.
I just don't think it's possible to make a good Dragonball movie. The source material is just too weak.
Think about the basic premise: an alien looks for these magical balls that grant wishes and fights some of the most flamboyant looking baddies ever on the side. Oh! And there's SUPER SAYINS!!!!
man,im sooo tempted to go into fan boy mode. But it's your opionion I guess.I can't threten to blow up the world if you don't like dragon ball(or can I?nahh i'll just watch vegeta try to do that).
I don't think the source materia is weak,it's just too non-realistic,but now im just spliting hairs.
Hey how do you think that death note movie will turn out?It has a few fantasy elements, but it's still pretty grounded in the real world,so that one could work in live action.
Psssh. I'm the hugest Dragon Ball fan EVAR (still collects the trading cards). But you hit the nail on the head: it's too non-realistic. Plus, the colors are way too bright for the big screen. But the ot\riginal material is still bad ass (regardless of the plot... or lack thereof). I just see it being too campy if it was made into a film.
In Hollywood a "logline" is a single-sentence synopsis of a script or story, a "grabber" designed to pique interest
The crew at postmodernbarney.com came up with some hysterical one sentence descriptions of films
Here's an advert for god only knows what, Guest starring Quentin Tarantino doing the crazest s**t ever
Seriously, does anyone know what this is advertising.
