I'm almost willing to let you get away with the generalization of "anime turned in to live action", as opposed to just DB, but I've got some faith in some future titles. It's all about subject matter.

Wow, so Spielberg is involved with a Ghost In The Shell movie.
It's a good thing Spielberg has never been involved with a shitty movie before.
I like how in that article he pretty much admits he's only making this movie in order to strike while the anime iron is hot, and make a shitload of money off gullible fanboys.

It's being written by the guy who wrote Street Kings.
Thank God that movie wasn't a moronic piece of shit.
Oh wait, yeah it was.

They've also got the guy who produced the Fantastic Four movies, and all those other horrible comic book movies, working on it!
Hurray!!

And it's in 3D!! Oh boy, that's not a tired gimmick!

I agree with you, but to answer you question: the two Death Note movies. Not that I think they were great movies by any means, but I thought they were better than the series.

there are some vids from japan that show how epic DBZ could be. Its Androids 17/18 against the Gohan. Someone who knows what I am talking about, please find the video.

Give it to the Wachowskis. They will make a great DBZ film.

Well i'll admit that a live action movie is a stretch.
But a cg movie could work

And that was just a video game.But maybe we should wait a while.After all,even batman had to wait like 5 years before they did it right.I think it'll be like 20 years for dragon ball.
But as long as it keeps making money,sombody else will try to make a movie out of it.
Hopefully the next attempt will be good.

jk,lol.yall don't have to aggree with me,(espically since my satellite lazer isn't working right now),it's good for people to have different opions.
