Happy Birthday Roboto posted a statusHi everyone! First I'd like to say that Spill has to be one of my favorite websites ever, I've been following it since 07 and I'm really glad I came across it. Although I dont participate much in discussions on this site I pay close attention to whats going on and I gotta say that community is really cool.
Now, I'm a young guy thats starting to really think about what I wanna do for the rest of my life. I'm a huge movie head and I really want to go into the film industry. I've never produce any film but I'm starting to get into something that could be the next best thing to sort of get involved in film making or at least story telling. Video games have gone ridiculously far in our days, they offer a lot more than they did from the NES days. But I'm not here to write a history report on video games, I'm here to talk about Machinima. You guys may be familiar with this, if not its basically making an animated short using a game engine. The most popular games associated with this are Halo, G-mod, WoW and a few others. Machinima is becoming more and more popular with games adding features to support machinima directors. I spend a lot of time playing video games and combining my two loves of films and video games could result in me finally finding something I could go for.
I've been playing around with the idea for several months now, and finally decided to give it a try. I've created my first machinima complete with voice acting and well not exactly the most outstanding plot. It's a short comedy machinima. Comedy is not usually my style but I decided to start off with something simple just to see what I can pull off. I really want some feedback on this video because I would really like to stick to this and I'll always be looking for ways to improve. Thank you for reading my boring post here, and if you didnt...well check out my video anyway lol.

Permalink Reply by Captain Cracker on March 1, 2011 at 2:01pm I will say this is is very good practice for film making because your able to film in ways you can not do else you have a Hollywood budget.
There are some Machinima tools for PS3 in home. You can buy a room in home for five dollars.
