So Bradley Cooper starts off as a science fiction writer. An occupation which requires some sort of passion i would believe. So then when he is having some writers block, he decides to take this drug to make himself smarter. He does become smarter and he finishes the book in 4 days and it's supposedly amazing. After that he completely abandon's his writing career and he decides to have a career in the stock market. To me it's like the movie is saying "Smart people don't pursue a career in the arts, smart people choose a career on wall street and find holes and make deals, run for office, and make a shitzillion dollars for yourself. You know! The American Dream!"

I guess I shouldn't have said conservative message. But i feel that it's a terrible message, and I am in complete bafflement that Spill Crew loved it as much as they did.
I was thinking about this just the other day, actually.
