If it's crap... We'll tell you
Lets Predict the how 2012 Movie will go.
Seeing how formulaic 2012 seems after watching Roland Emmerich's other fims. Lets predict how the movie will go. My guess just for the begining will be like this:
The father in the trailer wakes up saying something with ironic foreshadowing like "Today's not my day" or opens up a fortune cookie saying his lucky number is 12. We see his family, the daughter will have her 12th birthday and she argues with the brother. Someone says something like "If mom was around" and will learn how their mother is no longer with them. The father has his work get in the way of his family.
Watching the morning news, he see's reports about tragedies and thinks nothing of it. Wanting to get his mind off the subject, he decides to take his family on vacation in his RV. He says good bye to his neighbor who's the comic relief that constantly calls up on them at the worse times.
Now everyone guess how the movie will go. Most accurate prediction will get a used scratched up DVD copy of Godzilla 1998 Full Screen Edition.

and then insert an environmental/ political message in the ending.
Oh and a bonus scene with Al Gore walking through a desolate, destroyed city yelling "I TOLD YOU!" to every corpse he passes by.
