Least Favorite Type of Oscar Fodder

What is your least favorite type of movie that really tries to bait the Oscars with?

For me, it's the Nazi/Holocaust movie. While I liked "The Reader", I'm just sick of people using up all their talent on a subject that has been done to death.

Daniel Day Lewis in There Will Be Blood leaps to mind, but I think this year's big offender is Meryl Streep in Doubt. That ending is easily the stupidest I've seen all year.; ▶ Reply to This
