You really have a very limited view of film don't you.... Oh and JJ Abrams only recently had success... that guy was a douche bag before Lost came around... seriously take a look. he wrote some TERRIBLE SHITTY FUCKING AWFUL PIECES OF SHIT!

I'm not even kidding... JJ Abrams really came into his own in the past... oh... 8 years. To want to be like him, a guy that would write anything for a paycheck is pretty sad.
