Just to fit in: Tranformers 2
I'm not going to pretty this up with pictures....to make this topic standout from the others, mainly because I don't care..just enjoy
No matter how many times Spill says a movie sucks, us fans of spill go and watch it anyway. Why? cause, like the Spill Crew, we want to tear it apart as well. We want to seem smarter than everyone else when friends we saw it with ask why we didn't like it.
After that we can just quote The Spill Crew and seem like we know what we're talking about.
This movie was pretty shitty, but I knew that long before I even went to see it. So, I wasn't mad about it, it was just like "Hmm...I see what they're complaining about, i'll probably never want to watch this crap again"
What made this movie uncomfortable, was watching this with a family behind me. An elderly mom, a stern father and 2 kids that were hyped up on sugar. The sexual jokes and 'older' language just made it awkward for not only me, but the parents for their kids. Seeing a monster get hit in the 'balls' is something that'd you'd see in Conkers Bad Fur Day making a parody of a movie, not in some hollywood blockbuster film.
With the actual movie...it was just bad. Megan Fox should have just taken model shots and put them in a magazine as in every shot of the movie she just seemed to be posing in some sexy way. People always go off on how hot she is, which is true..she's an attracive chick, but I mean ...c'mn..it's hollywood. I can spot an attractive chick walking by as an extra on accident in every hollywood movie ever made.
anyway..to sum it up..dumb movie, who cares. it's just a movie. I'm gonna eat some Chicken & waffles

The only thing I hate about this movie...really, are the people who complain about it, like it's an 8th sin just to get attention.
I haven't seen Ang Lee's Hulk. However, I did like the newest Hulk. That was very fun to watch.

I'll admit, it's pretty, like watching Ann Coulter pick up a pencil, but then she opens her mouth and sprays you with feces.
The harm the movie can do, is where the hate is coming from. As a very successful summer blockbuster, it can only incite more, and not just sequels, but a change in the way Hollywood looks at the high priced blockbuster. I asked 3 of my friends recently, did you like Transformers 2? No, it was pretty mindless, but had some good scenes. Did you like Star Trek? No, I didn't see it. It's always been like this, with action movies beating out the smart stuff, but the truly stinky normally fall to the bottom, and rot. This movie, and the expectations that have been set by it, will haunt us for movie going years, with further emphasis on special effects, and no regard for scripts.

Yes, but it's really not hard to ignore movies like this. It's not like you HAVE to see them, and if you don't you're missing out on something. That goes for any summer blockbuster. It's pointless to get angry, especially at a movie.

I was sitting by a drunk who somehow snuck bottles of beer into the theater, and EVERY TIME, not just most of the time, literally every single fucking time Fox was on the screen, he either hoot, whistle or say something extremely degrading like "I'd ride that as long as I could" or "Ssssss, I'd hit that bro!". And being a female I was shocked that he was saying this RIGHT BESIDE me and my friend Holly. I dunno, maybe my blazer through him off. And we were fine with him saying something the first time, I mean, yeah, I find her attractive, but why say something every time she's on screen? I couldn't believe the lack of brain power from the rest of the audience as well. It was like, they'd laugh at anything that felt like the kinda shit only socially retarded people would find amusing. Every time the twins spoke seem to evoke laughter, which just made them even more annoying, as they sort of represented a reminder of some people ignorance. The movie being horrible aside, it made it even worse that the theater experience was just as bad.
