Here's a first look at the crossover between DC's the Justice League and Kuwait's Teeshkeel Comics' The 99. The first issue of the six-issue mini-series, from writers Stuart Moore and Fabian Nicieza with art by Tom Derenick will hit shelves in October.

Wonder Woman's costume is starting to make ALOT more sense now.....
LOL
Excuse my ignorance but what do you mean?
Do you honestly think they would draw Wonder Women in her old costume and send the comic to the Middle-East? It'd be equivalent to having Frank Miller write her as a crime fighting prostitute....
Well, the fact that Xena the Warrior Princess was a popular show in the Middle East (was actually a popular attraction to show in Ramadan) as well as the Justice League cartoon, I don't think that's the case. At least not with 99's creator Naif Al Matuwa who doesn't come of as conservatives especially when Saudi Arabia tried to ban his comic because the female characters were wearing tight suits.

In fact here are pictures of 2 characters from an Egyptian comic book:

I want to say DC is going to play it safe regardless, but i don't know. Maybe you're right. They did say they'd be changing her costume for it though, that i'm almost positive i heard.
