is the watchmen blue-ray worth the purchase?

I really love the Movie,but i allready own the dvd ,so if anyone out there has the watchmen blue-ray laying around,tell me if the picture and the most important:the features are good enough to spend money on the movie again?

Permalink Reply by Madness Mark on November 13, 2009 at 4:41pm: The only real big feature is the 'movie-experience' commentary with Zack Snyder commenting and stopping the movie every now and then to comment and point stuff out (some behind the scenes footage is included in the commentary as well). So if you like commentary, the blu-ray is worth it.

The rest of the special features are standard Warner Bros cruddy featurettes more about the meaning of the movie than the actual movie itself (seriously, how many featurettes is WB going to do about superheroes in society?).

However, I wouldn't really recommend the newest release considering it just includes to the Black Freighter segments to an already 3 hour movie and both the Black Freighter + Motion Comic DVD.; ▶ Reply to This
