Is The Artist really Arsty Fartsy? Why is The Muppets so damn good?!!
First of all. The Artist is by far the best movie of 2011. When I heard about it, I was like wow, it's actually called The Artist. The makers must be pretty f#*cking bold when they literally had art in the title. I mean a black and white silent independent film set in the 20's? Pish Posh. But it could legitametely be made in the 20's, it did so much for having no dialouge. It's up there with Wall-E.
Secondly, this is a great week for movies but I had to mention The Muppets. I would also never expect a muppet movie (Iv'e never really enjoyed The Muppets) to be such a masterpiece but straight up, it's hilarious and heartfelt. An instant classic.

Even though both Christy and Ignatiy on Ebert Presents gave "The Artist" thumbs up, the way they described it REALLY turned me off.
Can we drop the term Artsy Fartsy? That's my equivalent of the word "panties".
