Is Mass Effect 3 Worth Getting?
Still haven't got the game yet, and I'm a HUGE fan of the series, but I was hearing some pretty bad stuff about the ending and such. But it also got rave reviews all across the board, I'm just wondering if "Mass Effect 3" is something worth getting, or if it's like the "Call of Duty" franchise that just gets good reviews cause it's what's biggest.

I actually liked the ending a lot. Definitely get the game, it is absolutely incredible. I'm gonna start my second playthrough this week.

Its a great game, but people are just over reacting and the ending is defined on how you as a game player view it, plus even if the the ending is terrible then the gameplay and story is great

Dude, don't let all the grumpy complaints keep you from playing this. Everything before the last 5 minutes is an amazing experience of a game and I loved every second of it. I personally did not hate the ending. Bioware is also putting an together an alternate or extended ending which hopefully comes out sometime soon.
Also remember the saying "It's not all about the destination, It's the journey getting there that matters.

Even if the journey was great, the destination was such a disappointment that it left a sour taste over the rest of it. For me at least.
