I watched that on TV as a kid and thought it was the most awesome thing since New Zoo Review. It played at Halloween. I even remember watching "It's the Great Pumpkin" that night.

To compare that, even closely, to the "worst movie ever" is ridiculous. Watchmen may have not lived up to comic book fans wet dream that has been unfulfilled for years, but it was a damn good, enjoyable film. Nothing could ever compare to Alan Moore's timeless masterpiece, but the movie was impressive. You can't say it was the worst movie of all time, and if you do you're obviously just a pissed off comic book fanboy who simply got his heart broken. I mean this is good nature, and I'm not trying to bash anyone.

I've not seen the movie in question, but I'm sure we could all agree on another movie, on top of another, and so on. Lots of movies suck, and the list never stops.

However, I never cared for the graphic novel either! (Did I just commit seppuku?)
I made it a priority to actually read watchmen before attending the movie, and my disposition was assaulted by a universal, "Meh."

A standard affair...
Run-of-the-mill...

Watchmen, when interpreted through a comic medium is "okay" at best, so my disposition towards the film was coloured a neutral grey.

However, as soon as the Comedian engaged in an over the top, theatrically arbitrary, and universally insipid knife fight, I immediately knew that this motion picture was going to be horrendous!

Watchmen is the only film I have ever walked out of, and reigns upon Alone in the Dark and Twilight as the worst movie I have ever had the misfortune of viewing!
