Look I love the new game "Dark Souls."  Its biggest appeal is its challenge, it is by far the most rewarding game I have ever played.  Getting a new weapon, beating a new boss, or simply farming souls every minute is a fight for survival.  But right now I'm stuck in Blighttown and I can't get past it.  I think I got to a point in the game where it is to hard, the poison, the monsters, and especially big spider breathing fire bitch who I hate.  It has really made me hate the game, and not in the way where you hate the game because it took a bunch of souls but you're still having fun, I actually just hate the game.  Bligttown ruined it for me.  So my question to you guys is: do you think "Dark Souls" is too hard?

I dont think that it is to hard just very unforgiving. With the major of games these days you can power right through everything without a second thought even on some of the harder difficulties, but as you, and anyone else that has played Dark Souls or its predecessor, that isn't the case with these games. I often had to grind souls so i could level enough just to get passed certain areas. You are right about it being a very frustrating game though. I want to break my controller sometimes or I have to walk away from the game for a few days, or weeks, but after taking down that boss that has been kicking my ass recently, it makes it all worthwhile.

Nah, its challenging like an old school NES game, but I understand the frustration in Blighttown. That's nothing compared to fighting Silver Knights on the outer ledges of the castle. And there was only one part that almost beat me into submission, but I showed that game who is boss!

If you are having trouble with Blighttown's firebreathing spider bitch, I would recommend using a humanity at the bonfire by the elevator and beating the NPC that invades your realm and then summoning her right before you fight the spider woman, let her focus on the NPC and you can slice you her butt up. But don't be overconfident.

Unless you can die in real life by playing a game, the game isn't challenging enough.

You want to die because of a game?

Shhh. Just let him.

No, but unless the chances for death is there, then the game isn't a challenge.

Yes the logic is fucked i don't care.

No, it's pretty fair.

Explore the world, discover shortcuts. The game will become a lot easier.

The worst thing that Dark Souls have going against it is that it dose a poor job of explaining all the mechanics of the world and how all your moves work. The first character I tried to play with was the Pyromancer cause it had the fireball move for a range game, but when I tried to use the fireball, he would keep throwing it at his feet and the game would not tell me how to throw this fireball farther and I had to consult a Dark Souls wiki to figure out how to throw the fireball.

Its a game that can be made really easy or hard depending on what you do with it, that's the allure of the game. You can level up as much as you like to just go in and tank them out, or you can limit yourself with all the available upgrades to give yourself an impossible challenge, where im guessing you are at. You need an amount of patience with this game that is not asked for in other games; Each boss has its own learning pattern unlike games today where its just one learning curb needed to do well in the game. the method I used to fighting queelag is attacking when the spider does a whole wide array of fire. I rotated to her left throughout the whole battle. It took me a while to fight her

you havent even gotten to the hard parts yet

(fatty and slim and the Kings) and another thing

do you think that queelag is hot?i mean if it was just the spider it would be a negative 2 on the hotness scale but will the topless chick upper half, shes a 6 or 7. am i right?
