If it's crap... We'll tell you

Watchmen was released last week and was playing in our town's theater. Only with a one week run the theater has dropped Watchmen for Witch Mountain, The Wrestler, and Slum Dog Millionair. Is this happening everywhere else where the movie is being pulled from theaters with only a one week run?

Defintley not around my town. There would be riots here in Long Beach. What town do you live in?

Oak Harbor WA, it's a small Navy town

The biggest problem with watchmen is that...its not gonna make back the movie it cost warner brother's studio to make it, and its definitely not going to make up for that fox law suit. whether it was good or not, no one is watching the watchmen.

I wanted to watch it...again. I just don't feel like driving 45 minutes to the next nearest theater that would play it.

I don't want to pay for it again but I still like it. It not making money is even more of a reason why it should still be in theaters. That's weird that's it's gone in your town. In NJ it's still here.

Intresting to hear. I figured that with all the action figures, games, collectible bull shat, etc. that they would be able to make some flow off of it. I forgot all about the law suit

I might go see The Wrestler this weekend in town. If I do I'll ask what the deal is with Watchmen leaving so quickly
