In your opinion, which was funnier: 'The Hangover' or 'Pineapple Express'

I know they're different types of comedy, but they're comedies nonetheless. I'm just asking this because I finally got to see The Hangover. Everyone had been telling me it's one of the funniest films they had seen in a while. I asked one of my friends if they thought it was funnier than Pineapple Express, and they said it was. After watching The Hangover, I have to admit it was pretty funny, but it didn't live up to the level of hype and hilarity that everyone was giving it. Don't get me wrong, it's one funny flick and I laughed out loud at some parts, but in my opinion Pineapple Express was ten times funnier. Which film did you find funnier?

Therefore, I have to go with Pineapple Express. I hated it the first time I saw it, swore it off and closed the book. My girlfriend told me to re-watch with her and it is now a recurrent film in our rotation. It's totally freakin' hilarious.

However, I loved The Hangover immediately when I saw it. I need to watch it again and I will be buying it this winter. My opinion may change by then, but until then, PE all the way.; ▶ Reply to This
