What I am looking for mostly is to play my old PS2 games on and I don't want to get another PS2. I'm not sure all PS3s are compatible with PS2 games, so help me out here will ya? And also, all PS3s can play blu-ray right?

well ps3's are only compatible with ps1 games. All the ones that were compatible with ps2 are no longer in production. All Ps3 play blu-ray which is a saving grace.Plus free internet membership.that and great HD.
The newer PS3's cannot play PS2 games. Only the 1st gen PS3's could, however they have stopped producing those.
Looks like your hitting E-bay for a PS2 compatible, but Chigs link should help with specifics.
Was lacking a method to play files on TV before, so one neat feature I've recently discovered is that you can load thumb drives with AVI's, or Divx files to play on the PS3, but you have to select "Display all" for them to show up.
