I want to preface this discussion by saying that I love The Elder Scrolls, and Skyrim is as close to a perfect game as I have ever played (although the Dark Brotherhood was way better in Oblivion). Having said that, I'm having a hard time buying that anyone would play this game for 300 hours on one character. Since I bought this game in early December, I have spent 125 hours questing my ass off. I have unlocked every achievement, and my gear is as good as I want to get it (I play on master, and it's still way too easy most of the time). I used to get messengers telling me new places to go, but they don't seem to show up any more. The Greybeards don't even have anything for me anymore (I only have 2 more words to find). I want to play more Skyrim. I have 2 more weeks of holiday boredom before I go back to my real life, and I want to spend all my remaining time gorging myself on video games until I don't even want to look at a computer screen with a cross hair in the center of it. I know most of you bought this game about a month before I did, so what's the answer? Is there more hidden stuff to do once you've hit the wall I've hit, or should I find a new way to amuse myself?

You could get daggerfall and never ever do it all.

Bethesda claims that the scale of the game is equal to twice the size of Great Britain:[2] around 487,000 square kilometers. The game world features over 15,000 towns, cities, villages, and dungeons for the player's character to explore. According to Todd Howard, Game Director and Executive Producer for Bethesda Game Studios, the game's sequel, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, is 0.01% the size of Daggerfall

Oooh, and it's free to play...

...did read somewhere that someone did a noclip exploration of the world outside the boundaries of skyrim and found that the world of Oblivion and Morrowind is mapped out. That would suggest we can go there eventually with future expansions, but that wont solve your next 2 weeks...

Well now, this is exciting news.

I'd say that 125 hours is all you're going to get until the expansions start dropping.  There's the radiant quest system which could conceivably keep you occupied, but that's mostly just things like the extra jobs for the thieves' guild which are just little objectives you can complete for money and not what I would consider "real" content.  I'd say either start a new character and play the game differently or switch to another game.

That's what I thought. Good thing there's an amazing deal on Steam for the Dead Space bundle right now.

Beat it again?

Its what I did anyway. I believe I got about 200 hours out of it.

Have you done all the quests and cleared all of the dungeons?

I'm sorry I've played upwards of 200 hours on "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" and my quest-log is still littered with quests.  I probably have at least 20 quests that need doing and about 50 miscellaneous quests that need doing.  Either you're just not talking to anybody or you refuse to do side quests.  And if you run out of quests read the books, go dungeon diving, or you can keep doing The Dark Brotherhood Forever quest.  I heard that since they never use real names on the contracts (i.e your contact is named "The Skeeving Servent) there are unlimited contracts.  Not only that Betheseda said they had 300 hours of gameplay at minimum.  They have a radiant A.I which gives you almost unlimited quests.  You should have enough gameplay to last you the rest of your two weeks.

Hm. Well, I hate to disappoint you and Bethesda, but at 125 hours I've been searching desperately for side quests (that aren't radiant bullshit) and come up with nothing. I've been talking to innkeepers and civilians as well as searching areas of the map that seem a little sparse for the last couple days, and all I've come up with is the occasional cave that needs to be flushed of bandits. If you count the Dark Brotherhood quests and the radiant quests then yes, I could hypothetically keep playing the game forever, but why the fuck would I want to kill the same npcs over and over again for 2 weeks? I quit playing WoW 2 years ago, and I'm sure as hell not going to start grinding in a single player game.

Have you at least beaten all the guilds and main quests in Skyrim? Because if you haven't, then at 200 hours I think it's safe to say that you're just taking your sweet time.

I have beaten all of the guilds fully and I have beat the main story line.  I don't know what's wrong with your copy of "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" but you should have at least 100 more hours of gameplay.  I don't believe that you have cleared out all the dungeons, also try talking to the Greybeards, they might give you some stuff to do.  Also talk to the Companions.  The Thieves and Dark Brotherhood have pretty repetitive missions, while the Companions has a bunch of side quests that are fun and always involve combat.

Found the link again to the most of Tamriel being in Skyrim.
