Has Inception created a ripple effect with the recent "Mind movies?"

Sometimes huge, hyped, big budget, and critically acclaimed movies come out and create a ripple effect soon after they come out, with many movies trying to be, at least in part, a kind of spiritual successor to the epic movie.

Has this happened with Inception being followed by movies like Source Code, Limitless, and others?

Discuss.

I dont think so. Limitless has a style more similar to Fight Club and was based on a 2001 novel, while Source Code started filming in March of 2010 and has more of a Twilight Zone feel to it.

I hope so.
It's still a bit early to tell, what and see over the next few  years though.
