If it's crap ... We'll tell you

Bautou

HANDS DOWN, the best martial arts movie of the past 20 years, and maybe the next 20

Ip Man

All I can say, is that one you see this movie, you will instantly become a fan of not just Asian cinema, but also Donnie Yen. His absolute best acting performance. If anyone believes that there is a better martial arts drama on earth RIGHT NOW (past twenty years), you need to see this film, to know how wrong you are.

Don't know if there has ever been such a good combination of writing, acting, martial arts choreography, directing, and editing in one martial arts film. A TRUELY AMAZING FILM, BEGINNING TO END!

Still my favorite matrial arts movies are the 70s ones: Drunken Master, 36th Chamber of Shaolin, Shaolin Wooden Men, Snake in Eagle's Shadow, Five Deadly Venoms, etc.

Yeah, well, those are obviously beyond 20 years aren't they?

I only watch Kung Faux.

It's like mixing an old Batman episode with kung fu and hip hop dumb shit. Very silly. Seems funny, I'm not to hip to this new trend, I'll have to look into it more.

I prefer martial arts films mixed with comedy.

The idea of a single man fighting ten guys at once (usually even more than ten) is ridiculous to begin with, so I may as well be laughing with a movie instead of at it.

I said comedy, not atrocity.
