Green Lantern Blackest Night Preview Images (Spoilers)
Here some brand new and not so brand new images and previews relating to DC's upcoming Blackest Night storyline.
Above is a pencil preview of the first cover to the Blackest Night story arc that DC just released today. Below, I believe, are a few slightly older preview images, but still pretty cool nonetheless.
Here are couple of toys that tie into the series. I hadn't seen the Martian Manhunter before and he looks pretty scary.
DC Direct lists the toys as follows: Included in Series 2 are Martian Manhunter, the second named member of the lifeless, emotionless Black Lanterns to be revealed; John Stewart, the Green Lantern charged with the task of protecting Earth; Kryb, the sinister, infant-stealing Sinestro Corp member; and the nameless, mysterious Indigo, who personifies compassion.
Not sure the importance of these characters to the series or what exactly they'll do, but it certainly gives an early insight. I can't wait for this series to start and if Rebirth and Sinestro Corps War were any indication then this will be a classic Green Lantern story.

I get the feeling that they're going to skate that exceedingly thin line with using the body we see at the end of FC, even though his true "essence" isn't there (but traveling through time or whatever).
Same with the Dibny's, since their souls are ghosts a la Deadman.
