If it's crap... We'll tell you

Sometimes a soundtrack can save a movie from being absolute shit. Here are some examples of my own;

* Blues Brothers 2000: Prime example; should have been a tribute/anniversary record, with artists ranging from B.B King, Issac Hayes, Eric Clapton, James Brown and Aretha Franklin, not a bad movie that never needed to exist.

* Batman Forever and Batman & Robin: Despite the shitty quality of the films, the soundtracks included some of the best artists of the mid to late 90s and some great guilty pleasure like Gotham City by R. Kelly and Kiss from a Rose by Seal. Also, additional praise to the campy yet awesomely heroic score by Elliot Goldenthal.

* Nothing But Trouble: Horrible, horrible excuse for comedy, yet it has one scene that is truly entertaining; a cameo by The Digital Underground, singing Same Song & Tie the Knot!

Now, name a few of your own.

Lost Highway -

With the soundtrack produced by Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails) and including songs by Rammstein and David Bowie. The movie is contrived, convoluted bits of tripe by David lynch, but the music almost makes it worth watching.
