Of course it's unjustified. ALL Playstation games have been unjustified in their praise. I've not seen one yet that actually makes me go "OH WOW".

Then again, it's because I don't CARE for the Playstation as a game console.

I think that there's some truth to that. I think people are dying for the PS3 to have good games and so they give more of a pass to PS3 games than they would to Xbox games.

That being said i think the "console war" is stupid. Why should anyone defend a console? they're all made by giant greedy fucking companies so which is which is kind of irrelevent

Except, Sony is a bit more greedy than Microsoft. Which, is hard to do.

Sony's E3 press conference was just them measuring their dick with Microsoft.

That is the best description for Sony business plan in general, although Microsoft did do the same at E3 last year, but at least they learned from their mistake which Sony seems incapable of doing.

To me I always use my PS3 for mostly playing MGS4 which to me is the only game on PS3 worth a full 60 dollars. I love God of War the game, I thinks its a fun game if u like hack and slash and it graphics look great when it was on PS2 compared to other games of the last generation. Now GOW3 still looks good, but its not a graphical powerhouse like it was, in this generation people expect games to atleast look like that. Honestly, all this praise for GOW is unjustified because theyre all the same game. U go and kill everything and its fun but not groundbreaking, like it was the 1st time. Cool game but as much as i love and own the 1st two im probaly gonna wait for this to come down in price, wait for someone to give it as a gift to me, or just rent it. At least ill get some use out of my blue-ray player that can play MGS4.

Wow I'm kinda used to forums being overrun by Sony fanboys so I'm a little surprised that a mob of Sony Ponies(lol picked that up from Joystiq) didn't try to lynch your ass.

But you're right. While GoW3 looks fun, when you reallly break it down it looks like the same exact game you've been playing since the first game. You play an extremely irritated Kratos as he literally rapes everything in his path with his blades. Also along the way you'll run into some QTEs (somethiing that was refreshing in the first game, now not so much). So yeah I agree that the praise is unjustified. Will it be a good game? Probably. But the END ALL GAME THAT FINALLY PROVES THAT THE PS3 IS WORTH THE EXPENSIVE PRICE TAG??? No.

To be honest i was hoping that the Sony Fanboys were going to attack me. When those guys get pissed off its some of the funniest shit ever made by humans.

A great example of this was on Xplay when Adam Sessler read out some of the hate mail he got when he reviewed Killzone 2 (which they gave a 5/5). The funniest ones were from the PS3 fanboys who claimed he was biased against their console despite giving a game on their system the highest score they could. One guy claiming that the tone of his voice had an undertone of reluctance which is because he is biased towards microsoft.

Classic hilarity.

So yes i invite all of the PS fanboys to flame me as hard as you possibly can.

It's sadly true. While all fanboys in general are fucking retarded, it's the sony fanboys who have a disturbing obsession with their console of choice. AND GOD FORBID YOU SAY ANYTHING BAD ABOUT A SONY EXCLUSIVE!!!!!!!!!!

I am a Sony fanboy, but im not gonna flame you because you have your own opinion and i have mine. That's what I hate about almost all fanboys, they think that everyone should love the same console they do and hate all the other consoles. Every fucking one has their own opinion and nothing a fanboy says is gonna change it.
