Ghosts and stuff
So today I was listening to this psychic on the radio, and I was thinking about how half the stuff she was saying had me laughing out loud at how ridiculous it seemed (she predicted a giant lobster surfacing off the coast of Newfoundland) and the other half really made me think (especially when she spoke about past lives).
So, I'm just wondering what you guys think of the whole supernatural thing...I'm talking spirits, ghosts, souls, "psychic" abilities. Do you believe? Why do you think some people do? Oh and share any stories of course!

As a Wiccan I can tell you straight up that psychics are full of bullshit. I mean, do I believe in psychic abilities? Well yes, but not necessarily like THAT. What I believe in is more spiritual than actually believing that a visual creature is before me or that I'm doing Harry Potter tricks. Magick is a very spiritual thing that is difficult to describe because it's less of a power and more of a feeling. So yes, I do believe in Witchcraft, just not whatever bullshit they put in movies like The Craft.
And since I believe in witchcraft, I do believe in the supernatural but only to a certain degree. I'm not going to try and argue that Big Foot is real, but I won't deny the possibility of spirits or ghosts lingering. I just don't believe they'll make themselves known as often as "Ghost Hunters" tends to for whatever reason believe.

I have a story, I'm not the best writer so bear with me :)
some back story:
2 years ago during my last year of highschool i was getting into astral projecting.. well attempting to anyways lol, i think i got somewhere... as in after trying a few times (basically staying still with eyes closed but not going to sleep) i was starting to feel the vibrations course through my body. but yea of course the last year of high-school had a lot of work to do and social life and what not so i discontinued that. Although one night i was reading up some more stuff like this and decided to try and open my 'third eye' which is apparantly located on your forehead and that is the thing that allows you to see spirits and what not likr the shows ghost whisperer, Medium etc etc. I tried opening my third eye for like 15 minutes one night before going to bed before the event happened.
Part where stuff happened!:
So basically during the night i was asleep laying on my back and at 3:15AM in the morning (3-4AM is the darkest hour so is Notorious for shadow people, spirits etc to appear) I was woken up by something RAISING my right arm (i have a wall on the left side so only open space was to my right side) along with this i heard an extremely loud and terrifying shriek/growling in my head, i have never heard this sound before but to describe it, it was kinda like being woken up by the crazy cat lady from the Simpson's but with a mixture of a ferocious dog snarling/growling.
this all happened in a space of about 2 seconds, just when i opened my eyes and they started to focus i thought i may have seen red eyes (was reading up on shadow people alot but i think i was just imaging shit) nothing was there.
I know the sound was in my head because i had a cat at the end of my bed who was not fazed at all whilst i was shaking from all the adrenalin. In fact i was shaking the rest of the night with the lights on of course especially when i turned on my TV and there was an add for some warehouse with red eyes on a black background lol.
After that night I went and 'blessed' my house and everything, i was so shaken up by it.
Some people may just play this off as sleep paralysis but I really doubt that it was, I've had sleep paralysis once before but this was different, i was not paralyzed... I was able to move perfectly fine once i woke the fuck up (2 seconds). In my opinion i think i attracted something to me and i really do not want to go there again...
some stories I've heard from family/family friends include some more shadow people stuff and even a Cherub if your interested in hearing them..
