Yeah, I'll second that....Sonic Unleashed was by far the biggest suprise this year. Good god, it's been more than ten years since they made a sonic game that I didn't want to ram down my garbage disposal. This one turned out fantastic!

How did so many people have such low expectations of Dead Space? It was like the Event Horizon game we always wanted but never could pull off properly so we got a spiritual design successor. The moment I saw the trailer I liked the look and knew it was gonna make a splash among all the sequels of 2008.

I bought this PSN game several days ago. It's called "Bionic Commando Rearmed". I heard good things, so I downloaded the demo and it seemed pretty fun. I needed a break from my other games so I went for it. The game's actually pretty damn fun. It's a sidescroller where you have a robotic arm capable of deflecting bullets and grappling the roof for ceiling or barrels and soldiers for protection or hurling. You also get an array of badass weapons you can use to defeat the evil tyrant Generalissimo Killt. Hopefully, the sequel to it coming out this year will be really good.

So yeah, check this game out, PS3 owners.

fallout really surprised me this year. never liked fallout before, but the third KICKED ALL SORT OF ASS. beyond that, dead space was really good (though it got a little boring after 2 hours), left 4 dead was a classic and i loved the hell out of devil may cry 4 on PC. weird, i know.

EndWars caught me off Gaurd, Just started playing it a week ago, I must Say I was impressed. I had some doubts that the Voice Command system would be difficult to use, and the AI would be Dumb, Like C&C, and mission success depended onHow Large your army was. With this game I can Deploy only 2 squads of riflemen and engineers and a few tanks as an escourt followed by a chopper and your guarenteed a good fight. 10/10 for this game.

Another Dead Space which truly lived up to its hype and it title. first time I played in was at night with only a nightlight on, Shit freaked me out!!!!!! My sister, whose not that much of a gamer, was freaking out and laughing when ever something leaped out at me.
