Games dont really let me down because Ive been gaming long enough to see through the hype. Games tend to come out just as I expected they would MGS4 was the same game I disliked on the last 2 conles and Halo 3 was exactly what I expeced would cause me to play for 8 months straight. Fable 2 was great but also short like the other one and Gears of war is more of what we loved in the first one. Mirrors Edge looks like it'd be an annoying game to play and I was right when I tried the demo, but was also having fun with it just like all the NES games I never beat.
I think gamers can be a tad naive whith thier expectations of developers. Its not the devs fault that you expected to see God when you put in the game youve been waiting all year to play. Jesus wont be visiting you through master chief or solid snake. They're just games
Assassin's creed had so much going for it when it was announced, and over the years with videos and developer diaries. When it came too, while i still enjoyed the game, was such a disappointment, i don't think i will play the game again. Well, maybe like 10 years down the line...
Mirrors Edge: It was just too short, I went over my friends house to play and we beat it in eight hours. Although I will say for those people who complain about the trail and error to stop bitching. These are the same people that tell me I am not good enough to game because I can not bet a classic Megaman game (nor 9), they should just shut their mouths and enjoy the fucking challenge.
Final Fantasy X: Thank you skip cutscene button.
Soul Caliber 3: Actually performed a ritual burning of this game, what a waste of my money.
Assassins Creed: I just can't sit through the pandering and exposition, the game is also a little too open ended, especialy when its not styled like an RPG and has less options than a GTA/Saints Row game.
It's probably just me but I get tired of the same FUCKING game after it's pumped down my throat every 2 years!! Seriously, can't I get a GTA game where I can play something different than a thug in every game? Let's see Rockstar Games, do I still have sandbox gameplay? I do, okay... Can I pursue a career different than the last GTA games where I'm some sort of street urchin that's trying to climb the ranks in a gang hierarchy?
Beg pardon, but I didn't hear your answer because of your laughing. Also, I was too busy gagging on your knuckles as you were shoving your GTA titles down my mouth.
Not bad games but for how they were hyped they should have been better
Also Heavenly Sword which I love but that game is so damn short especially without cutscenes (Even if you dont like the game you have to amire the art, music, and sounds used. Voices were great too)
