I think oreilly is saying MJ is a icon to everyone. He doesnt get why when he sees a guy tryiong to be white why he's held up as a black icon. The guy couldve pissed orielly off and said ," hey Its a black thing you wouldnt understand." That would have been funny as hell.

It is racist for the Black community to claim MJ as theirs... He doesn't belong to Black people, or white people...

He could sing and dance... outside of that he was a nutjob who was completely out of touch with reality... He was nothing for anyone to look up to... He killed himself he was such a miserable person. Get over it...

Well suicide or accidental suicide is probably the cause of death since they found a large amount of prescription drugs in his house that were not prescribed to him, enough to get the DEA involved to see where he got all those different type of drugs including the Demerol, which he was using since he got burned in that commercial. ( thats a long ass sentence)

Either he used the drugs himself or people pushed for him to use them.

he was getting ready for his comeback tour, i don't know anyone who who would drug themselves to death when they're about to comeback. yeah, he was weird but before you say he did nothing worth admiring take into account that he holds the record for most charities, one of if not the greatet entertainers that ever lived, broke racial barierrs in music and was a strong activist against racism around the world. of course he wasn't exclusively a black icon, his message of unity made him so appealing to anyone of any race. tell me why that is not something to look up to.

sure he made his share of mistakes later in life, but those choices were influenced by pyschological events that occured early in his life. i'm not saying he wasn't to blame for his "fall from grace". and your claim tht michael jackson would purposely leave his kids is purposterous. in all likelyhood he took too much medication because he needed to keep up with the strenious activity of preparing for his tour.

but don't let his mistakes later in life overshadow his achievements, at the end of day he never had any bad intentions or harmed anyone. but he did give alot to charity. so there's no questining that he wasn't a positive force during his time on earth.
