here it is at last: the first teaser poster for the Dark Knight Rises. It does 2 things for me: it cements my faith in Christopher Nolan and his team and it shows that there is clearly an Inception-like influence. We all know that there is not going to be an Inception-like plot in the Dark Knight Rises. Apparently, all hell is breaking loose. If we're lucky, Nolan may attempt something that no other director has done: the death of batman, and while this is only wishful thinking it would definitely be in line with the poster, as Gotham's end is approaches. I like the "hidden bat-symbol", by the way. But what do you guys think? Does this give you new hope in the film? Does it disappoint you? Meh?

The Dark Knight Rises teaser trailer comes ot on Friday 15th of July as part of the Harry Potter 7 part 2 premiere.

Yeah I would really hope for Batman's death, it would truly secure this as a trilogy and catch audiences through a blindside. Seeing Batman from his upbringing and training all the way to his ultimate demise to one of his most strongest and smartest foes (Bane) would make these movies worth watching 20+ years from now. Regardless I trust in Nolan's writing at this point and his directing even more so. As far as the Poster, it is a teaser but its a very stale one at that, I'll hold my breathe til the trailer is released.
This is actually a little disappointing. It's a little meh. It's a teaser granted, and I'm looking forward to the film, but that clip did nothing for me really.
hat was great. At the same time, they use a lot of old footage but it just goes to show that this is supposed to be one story and it's going to conclude. i feel sad for Gordon. let's hope the film gets me to have an emotional response, something that was not too present in The dark Knight (but it's still my favourite film). Bane looks interesting.
