Those films that erveryone gushes and says they are classics, have you ever seen one and said to yourself: "That wasn't anyting special."

Maybe some comedies people tell you are really funny, but you don't see the humor in it.   Or horror films people tell you are scary, but you don't see the terror in it.  Or some dramas that are supposed to be deep, you find them to be boring.

Some people think the Poltergeist is one of the scarriest movies ever, but I really didn't get a good feel for it.  it just didn't make me feel anything but a reluctance to watch and see if something is going to happen in the next scene.

How about you?  Have you seen something and don't see what the big fuss is about?

I didn't see what was so great about War Horse. I was bored in the theater and I hated the movie. Another one was a best picture nominee, Amour, which was tedious imo.

Slumdog Millionäre & the Hurt Locker both won best picture and i really don't see what is so great about them.

I really think The Hurt Locker sucks. Zero Dark Thirty was pretty good, but I'm not sure how it holds up for repeat viewings.

What was so great about Brokeback Mountain. It felt like a Nicholas Sparks rip-off to me.

Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal's performances sold the movie alone for me. It's really the only film that tackles homosexuality back in those days and Ang Lee did an outstanding job directing it. Not to mention it's a hell lot better than Crash.

Dominick?

Close.

Oh come on. Just because Alex showed up at the exact same time that Dominick disappeared, and hates the same movies that Dominick hates doesn't mean Alex is Dominick.

Besides... Alex is from L.A.!!

L.A.? well shit, I be flummoxed.

Blood or Crip? Cant be wearin the wrong colours when he be postin.

Didn't see Crash so I can't say if it's better or not. I'm cool with the homosexuality. However, it didn't give me any characters to care about and the biggest sin was it bored me to tears.
